Today's Objectives:
* Students will communicate their interests through surveys created by UE-interns.
* Students will create a project which demonstrates knowledge of the Odyssey, its problems, and its strengths.

* read The Metamorphosis / listen to it on CD -- be prepared for test when we return

* Odyssey top ten due when we return from break

* have a wonderful and safe spring break!

Involvement in Other People's Affairs

Read the statements below; respond according to your gut instinct. There is no "it just depends." Agree or disagree.

• When September 11 happened, I didn't really feel that bad about it because I didn't know anyone involved.
• If I saw someone I didn't know trip or fall down in the hallway and drop his/her things, I wouldn't help them. They'd probably think I was strange for getting involved; they might be embarrassed.
• People tend to keep to themselves; I am one of those people.
• When I get my license, if I'm driving and see someone stranded, I wouldn't help, especially if I had some place to be. They probably have already called for help.
• Sometimes people tend to 'not see things,' like someone getting hurt because they don't want to get involved or be held responsible in some way.
